The three main highrise complexes along the Duporth avenue stretch of the Maroochy River have continued to prove that there is just no substitute for position. Directly adorning the banks of the Maroochy River Banyandah Towers, Trafalgar Towers and Northcliffe are the only existing buildings with 15 floor height approvals and blue chip riverfront locations.

Investor confidence has been particularly high due to the fact prices are still accessible to the majority and the views available are simply breathtaking in most instances.

Banyandah Towers had the highest number of sales over the last two years with 11 properties selling in 2006 compared to 16 properties selling in 2007. Sales numbers have generally been higher in Banyandah Towers due to the fact that there are 116 apartments in total compared to 64 in Northcliffe and 54 in Trafalgar Towers. The average price paid for an apartment in Banyandah Towers in 2006 was $297,000 with 218 being the cheapest for Unit Lot 30 and $390,000 the highest price for lot 100. The average price in Banyandah Towers rose by 4% in 2007 to $308,125.
